Boston Properties Appoints Douglas T. Linde to Its Board of Directors

BOSTON, Jan 21, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE: BXP), a real estate investment trust, announced today that Douglas T. Linde has been appointed to fill the vacancy on its Board of Directors resulting from the recent passing of Edward H. Linde. Douglas T. Linde also currently serves as President of the Company.

The Company's Chairman, Mortimer B. Zuckerman, said "Doug joined the Company in 1997 and his expertise, energy and leadership have enabled him to assume greater responsibilities over time, including his previous role as Chief Financial Officer and his current role as President.
